What We Fund

“Raul appreciated that the greatest gift any community can provide for its children is a solid education upon which to build successful and productive lives. He would be proud to know that his gift, the Foundation born from his legacy, supports youth programs and scholarships helping Valley communities achieve that goal.”

BORIS HIDALGO

The mission of The Tijerina Foundation is to enrich the lives of people living in south Texas through grants:

Energizing youth by introducing them to new worlds.

Opening doors to dreams through higher education.

Caring for health and wellbeing at every stage of life.

Keeping alive the Valley’s proud multi-cultural heritage.
